JUNE 04 2013

Our first article was published in the AGEFI. We started the RESILIENCE-WATCH project in the Foyer du Rocher (a hostel for adults that have financial difficulties) in Neuchâtel (Switzerland) in January 2013. In May, we launched the first version of our website: www.resilience-watch.com. A journalist of the AGEFI came to interview us at the hostel. (article in French)

 SEPTEMBER 20 2013

In September, it is a local reporter from Neuchâtel who interviewed us in the Express (local newspaper). This article had a significant impact for RESILIENCE-WATCH. We have shown that it is not because we have financial difficulties and are on social welfare that we are not going to do something about it. We have the will to work this out through this business project and we want to prove to others that even now, despite the financial crisis, it is possible to do so. (Article in French)

In the months that followed, the company Kyburz approached us and offered us to put business offices, a wifi connection and a telephone line at our disposal, end of January 2014.

DECEMBER 18 2013

On December 17th 2013, an independent watchmaking journalist, Olivier Müller (from Delos Communication) called and interviewed us. He had followed the career of David and his adventure with the Confrérie Horlogère (Watchmaking Brotherhood) of BNB Concept. The next day, December 18th 2013, an article was published in the Argus of watches (a site about watches and Haute Horlogerie). (Article in French)

FEBRUARY 04 2014

First article in the international watchmaking webpress. Our website was still in its first version. The second version of the site was launched end of April 2014. (Article in English)

We were offered subsequently to participate in a watch fair in Dubai. Ironically, we didn’t even have enough money  to buy our train tickets to the airport!

FEBRUARY 19 2014

Article published in a watchmaking web-press from London. (Article in English)

Following this article, we were invited to have a stand at the International Fair of watchmaking in London. Again, lack of resources, we had to decline the offer. However, we went in March at Baselworld, the international watch fair in Basel, at the private lounge of the Ramada Plaza Hotel.

MARCH 13 2014

Six months after the first article in the Express reporter offered to tell the opportunities that allowed the first article in their newspaper, our current projects and those to come. (Article in French)

In parallel, we created the ANB Association (A New Beginning) to help people on social welfare or unemployed in the canton of Neuchâtel (Switzerland): website of the Association ANB (in French). On the one hand this was to help us make it through the transition from social welfare to a new independent status, on the other it would allow us to help others willing to become independent.

To finance RESILIENCE-WATCH, we tried the experience of crowd-funding in May 2014 over a period of two months.

We recounted the creation of RESILIENCE-WATCH on a WordPress blog which tells in detail the story of the start-up and the subsequent events after these articles. This year 2015, we give less information. But have no fear, the company’s creation is ongoing and still reserves many surprises that we will most definitely share with you!
